Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Silburn I. Reid is an ordained minister who serves as the Lead Pastor of the Staten Island Seventh-day Adventist Church. Called to ministry from an early age, he is passionate about preaching God’s Word, making disciples, and helping people experience the transforming power of the gospel.
Before coming to Staten Island, he served as Assistant Pastor at Community Worship Center in Queens, NY and Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harlem, New York. Dr. Reid holds advanced degrees in ministry and leadership, has completed Clinical Pastoral Education, and is pursuing Board Certification as a professional chaplain.
He is married to his wife, Tasha, and enjoys playing football and supporting his favorite team, Manchester City. His ministry is guided by Galatians 6:9 and his personal conviction: “If prayer cannot do it, it cannot be done.”
